Im an addict my name is Ashley. I took the time to look on how to navigate around this site, after already been a member for a few months lol. Now that I have a better idea I will be on more often and available to chat. Anyone who is new to NA or this group keep comming back I need to hear from you. Recovery is such a learning process for me and everyday I am getting more and more out of this program.

What a Support Group!
written by Heretic, mayo 13, 2009
Hi, I'm a recovering addict and my name is Garver. I haven't really been checking out this website, so it'll take me a some time before I get some kind of understanding of how this website works. Just like right now, I don't know if I'm posting in the right place. I just smiled because from day one I heard "you're in the right place". I know those members were and still are, talking about physical meetings. Not cyberspace. So until next time. Don't leave five mintues before the miracle!

Great Site!
written by Jonathan, agosto 26, 2009
Thanks for changing my username from my last to my first name. (Much better for anonymity!) I really like this site and have downloaded some of the best NA speaker recordings I've ever heard. (Veronica/Khalis & Vito). Site interface is not the most user-friendly but I'm sure it will improve.

A newcomer
written by danielredhot, septiembre 01, 2009
Hello everyone. I am an addict and my name is Daniel.

I haven't been clean long and am trying to practice a new way of life. I go to meetings every day and have a 25 yr vetren sponcer who I meet with once a week. I have just started step 2 and am looking forward to the experience. I can not honestly say that that I have the same enthuseasim about some of the other steps but just like walking I guess I can only take one step at a time. I am sure to be very busy with the work ahead and this looks like a good place to find some support and guidence. I'told that I' not very good at leting people into my life, maybe I just don't now how.
I look forward to getting to know some of you (if there's anyone out there). Please don,t hesetate to contact me.

Is it possable that not all of use can be restored to sanity. That some are just to damaged from the drugs, the lifestyle, the dishonesty... too overcome the insanity, the powerlessness. I am lossing Faith and could use some sugestions. Please don't hessatate to share your expereance, strength and hope.

Freedom from Addiction

I have found whether I am at a meeting or online here or else where there is a whole lot of recovery out there to be gotten if one wants it.I have met lots of wonderful people who are so full of support here.It is like a meeting, but no cross-talking or cellphones going off.No distractions at all unless caused by us ourselves. This site is so full of information one can be buried in things about recovery and everything.

What is NA Language?
written by Bruce, mayo 20, 2010
It works How and Why,
TRAD.10.PG.198,Even our leaders are only
trusted servants, with no power to tell individual members what to do
think or say,NA members are encouraged to think for
themselves,to develop their own opinions and express those
opinions as they see fit.

Clarity Statment Question
written by Bruce, mayo 20, 2010
The book ,It works how and why.
Trad.11 pg.208
Each of us has our own life, our own words and our own story, all
adding dimension and color to the message of our fellowship.

This tradition quote clearly states that all NA members should
feel free to use their own words.

Question
Does the clarity statement suggest that NA members should
not use their own words at an NA meeting or on this board?
YES or NO
