I gave up so much time for you

I didn t realize everything you made me do

I became a different person when you were around

But, then I learned how to put you down

I ve learned how to forget

I don t even need you one bit

I m glad you were lifted

And for that I am so gifted

I don t need to use you any more

Because now you are such a bore

I m happy I don t have to deal with you

And you re telling me what to do

I m grateful that you re out of my way

And, I m grateful for that each and every day.
